Embassy of the Republic of Suriname

The Embassy of Suriname has been in effect since Suriname's declaration of independence. The diplomatic post in The Hague became active on 25 November 1975, after the building that was previously used by the Cabinet of Suriname was converted into an embassy. The Suriname-Netherlands Chamber of Commerce is located in the Embassy of Suriname. This item makes it possible to establish a company in Suriname in the Netherlands. Furthermore, the embassy ensures bilateral cooperation between the Netherlands and Suriname and the embassy promotes Surinamese interests in the Netherlands.
