Welcome to the start of the tour. We begin at Falls-Lenox Primary School. When it was originally built, it was two separate schools.
Falls Elementary, which is now the East and South Communities, was built in 1954 and held all of the fourth and fifth graders in the whole school district.
Lenox Elementary held grades K-3 (along with Fitch Elementary, now the ECC), which is now West Community near Miss Heinrich's and the surrounding rooms, was built in 1960. Miss Lunn's second grade class won a contest and chose to name it in honor of our community's name from 1823 to 1827.
In 1992, the area with the library and cafeteria was built to connect the two schools to create Falls-Lenox Primary School. Can you see where the buildings were connected?
