First United Methodist Church
This church building was erected in 1908. Organized in the 1840s, the first Methodist Church was built in 1846 or 47 on corner of Main/Church; another was built there in 1865. The next location was built in 1878 on Olive Street, that is now Lifeline Baptist Church.
