At Fort Harrison, landscape and history blend together at this unique setting on the north-east side of Indianapolis. This was once the maneuvers area and firing range for the fort; now, this 1,700-acre park features walking and jogging trails, road and mountain biking trails, picnic sites, and fishing access to Fall Creek.
The west road leads to one of the mountain bike trailheads and the walnut grove; the south trail leads to Camp Glenn and the riding stables which we’ll see later, and the north road takes you to the fishing pond, and further up the road the duck pond.
