The front part of this house was built with logs constructed in 1815. John B. Floyd, served as Governor of Virginia from 1802-1805 and had his law office here from 1830-1863. Judge M.R. Page used it for his insurance office from 1880-1891. Dr. Jack Barrow and Dr. George V. Litchfield used the structure for their medical practice in 1915.
