As you walk down the Boyne Valley Trail toward the river, you’ll notice a big sign with a dog that says, “Thank you for visiting. Come Back Soon.” Back in the 1950s there was an iconic dog that lived here at Boyne Mountain named Fritz. Everett was enamored with all things Sun Valley and had liked the fact that they had a St. Bernard named Bingo. Everett acquired a St. Bernard and gave him a fitting Austrian name, Fritz.

🏃Keep walking toward the river on the paved path. When the path starts veering left, stay on the grass and walk toward the bridge. There is a mowed path following the wood line on the left. Keep walking until you see the signs at the water’s edge, just to the left of the bridge.
