Created By: Olmsted Falls City School District
Built: 1840s
After the Civil War, this building was used as a gathering place for veterans of the war. You may see V.F.W. Halls, or Veterans of Foreign Wars Halls, as you drive around. This is where military veterans come together to discuss important issues and spend time with one another. This building served the same purpose but for veterans of the Civil War. This building also has a tunnel to connect to nearby buildings that was once used to help slaves escape on the Underground Railroad.
