Honors Hall & Courtyard

Honors Hall is the gem of the Honors College. Its huge glass doors will welcome you into a great hall with the likeness of many famous great halls throughout the country, which are also based on the British educational system. All of the wood that makes up the tables and chairs lining the hall is Indiana sourced. The Honors College hosts many of its large events in this space, from dances to election watch parties. It has amazing flexibility with three projector screens hidden in the ceiling and a stage at the front of the hall. This space is open as a study area for all of campus on a daily basis. Take a look out the windows of Honors Hall to see the couryard and firepit. The Honors College and Residences Courtyard provides a wonderful space for students to get fresh air all year long. The majority of plantings in the courtyard and all around the HCR are Indiana native, as sustainability is something very important to the Honors College. The centerpiece of the courtyard is the fire pit, a visual representation of the Honors College torch, that can be lit all year long for students, staff, and faculty to gather around.
