Hudson Community Garden

The Hudson Community Garden is an organic, volunteer-run space located on Port St. The garden is near the Assabet River, the Portuguese Club and, Wood Park. The Hudson Community Garden was founded in 2012. Community gardens really began in the early 70’s. People would find a patch of land and start planting. Everyone there had to pitch in to grow something. The purpose of it is to create a better community, people come together to learn and have fun. This local garden grows a variety of vegetables, fruits, herbs, and beautiful flowers! The Community Garden is looking for volunteers and, all ages are welcome to come and help!

O Hudson Community Garden é um espaço orgânico, dirigido por voluntários, localizado em Port St. O jardim fica perto do Rio Assabet, do Clube Português e do Wood Park. O Hudson Community Garden foi fundado em 2012. Os jardins comunitários realmente começaram no início dos anos 70. As pessoas encontrariam um pedaço de terra e começariam a plantar. Todo mundo lá teve que entrar para crescer algo. O objetivo é criar uma comunidade melhor, as pessoas se reúnem para aprender e se divertir. Este jardim local cresce uma variedade de legumes, frutas, ervas e lindas flores! O Community Garden está à procura de voluntários e, todas as idades são bem vindas para vir e ajudar!
