Irwin Inn and Gardens, a famous and historic site originally built in 1864 and remodeled in 1910, has changed little in the past 100 years, preserving a slice of the past. On Sundays and Tuesdays, there is a 60-minute tour of the house and gardens for just $15 per person, a great way to spend some time learning about the history of Columbus, while having a good time, as well as getting a good look into the lives of the family that sparked the architectural craze that Columbus, Indiana is famous for.
