This historic home was erected by building two homes on the same lot in 1790-1791. The eastern half was constructed by Matthew Willoughby and westward half by Morris Morrison. In 1798 James Longley acquired both houses and joined them together sometime before 1817. During recent renovations workers discovered peg rafters, log floor joists hand forged nails and the origional door locks and hinges.
