Kellogg and Holmes Kandy House - 416-420 South Main Street

This was originally two frame buildings. Kellogg and Holmes Kandy House was here in the early 1900’s. Howard Kellogg later opened the popular Howard’s Café.

Keith’s Clothing occupied 416 South Main in the late 1920’s and Schramm-Johnson Drug Store was located in 420. Early in the twenties, remodeling joined the two buildings with a brick façade. The New Studio has been in continuous operation since 1919 and has interesting early photographs available for viewing.
