The Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art is a non-profit art museum. The museum’s collection includes over 3,500 artworks, and spans over 6,000 years of art, and represents cultures from around the world including ancient Egyptian, Chinese, pre-Columbian, African, Native American, European, and American art. The museum houses the official portrait of Pope Pius X and Oklahoma’s only Egyptian mummies.
Among it's Native American collection and archives are included:
* a Mopope painting (of the Kiowa Six)
* a Kiowa cradleboard
* and a Kiowa buckskin dress.
The museum also possesses in its archives a few other works by members of the Kiowa Six, which are not on display.
Contact the museum first to confirm which items are currently on display, as they, like most museums, rotate their collection.
