Most of their Native American collections are at the Downtown location, but they do have Native art (including some Kiowa material) on exhibit here at the main campus.
Contact the museum first to confirm which items are currently on display, as they, like most museums, rotate their collection.
The Philbrook Museum of Art currently has in its collection about 80 pieces in total, most of which are prints and paintings, including work by all of the group known as the Kiowa Six.
* Lois Smokey
* Stephen Mopope
* T.C. Cannon
* Blackbear Bosin
There are also about 25 pieces of cultural art, that is, clothing, moccasins and other cultural historical artefacts objects made for use within the Kiowa community (as opposed to art made for trade or sale outside the community).
