The wall was eight feet tall and 7,425 feet long
Started building in 1850 by the Mormon pioneers
Was built to block attacks from the Indians
In 1850 there were major problems with the Indians, so they confined themselves in a sixteen block city with an adobe wall to protect them from the Indians. The completed wall had the height of eight-feet and a length of 7,425 feet of adobe around there city. Due to the size of the wall, each family had to help build their separate parts of the wall. There are currently four plaques around Lehi about the wall, The plagues represent the four corners of the wall located northwest, northeast, southwest, and southwest around the downtown of Lehi.
