The Hudson War Monument was built to commemorate the soldiers who passed away for our country during World War I and World War II. Another monument was built in 1966, next to the original one to honor the people who fought in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. It is located in Liberty Park, near the library. You'll find that this park is a quiet area of green space to relax in the middle of our busy downtown!

The inscription on the monument says, "In honor of those who fought for our country."
