268 EAST MAIN STREET
The Lynch Family built a log cabin on this site in 1825 and is still revealed in the western part of the house. In 1835 Ludowick C. Price added the eastern addition. From 1845 to 1890 Abingdon merchant E.L. Davenport occupied the dwelling. The house was moved to the back of the lot and a basement was added sometime between 1903 and 1907.
