MRI is the biggest hospital site in Central Manchester. The Accident and Emergency department (A&E) is for patients requiring emergency care for serious and life-threatening conditions. In case of an emergency this is the place you should go. No appointment is required. If you cannot get to the hospital yourself due to an injury or illness, call 999 for an ambulance.
The A&E department only treats serious injuries or illnesses. For other general health problems, either go to the Manchester Royal Infirmary Walk-In Centre located just beside the A&E department or make an appointment to see your GP.
