The Northcote Methodist Church as built in 1901 by George Carter at a cost of £205. The Sunday School hall on Stafford Road was built in 1922. The church, hall, and the two villas next to the church are now owned by the Tongan Methodist Church. On Sundays, the church rings with the sound of the Tongan church choir.
