Mido Cafe first opened in Temple Street at Yau Ma Tei in the 1950s and is the oldest existing Cha Chaan Teng in Hong Kong. It is iconic because it situated in a corner tenement house with special characteristics. It is also one of the best ‘Cha Chaan Tengs’ in HK and its signature dishes include 'Baked Pork Chop Rice' and 'Red Bean & Lotus Seed Ice'. Mido Cafe was also the shooting scenes of two TV dramas produced by TVB named ‘Revolving Doors of Vengeance’ and ‘Street Fighters’.
