Millers Hall or Saloon opened in 1863 and for many years was a social center for the town. Downstairs was the usual bar, with card rooms behind it. The dance hall was located upstairs, and social events and grammar school programs were also held upstairs. It was known as Greenhalgh Hall for many years. The Napier family sold the lot and building to Knights Ferry History and Museum Associates in 1984. A museum has been opened upstairs. An ice cream and sweet shop and realtor office, plus a senior center room and library are now open. The local post office boxes were moved into this building from the General Stores upon completion of the restoration project.
The Museum is open the first Sunday of every month from 10 Am - 1 PM. Also upon request open for group tours.
The Knight’s Ferry History and Museum Associates meet at 9 AM the second Tuesday of every month in Miller’s Hall and is open to the public.
This point of interest is part of the tour: Knight's Ferry Walking Tour
