This is one of many Mirabito Supermarket Stores throughout Fulton, starting in 1928 Ross and Frances Mirabito started a community supermarket on Erie Street. A few years later Ross and Frances acquired another store at this location on Cayuga St. These grocery stores were built on community relationships, and used local vendors for their products. These markets were known as "Mom and Pop" stores which were family owned and really built relationships with the people buying their products. These stores supported the Fulton community in 2006 when it had to close its doors due to the business climate changing in cities like Fulton.
