This property was owned by James and Aune Nelson. James Nelson was an avid traveler and brought trees from all over the world to plant on his property. As you follow the driveway, you will see the arboretum he created. Aune Nelson was a huge supporter of getting kids outside in nature. She was one of the first supporters of TNI's Discovery Day Camp which started in 1982.
