Information

Four 3 foot diameter marble mosaic spheres with adjacent stainless steel signage. Each depicts a piece of Venice history:

ROCKET SHIPS & FLYING SAUCERS - A tribute to world renown "Father of Science Fiction" and longtime Venetian, Ray Bradbury.

REPUBLIC OF VENICE WINGED LION - The Symbol of The Republic of Venice was originally sculpted on the Windward Colonnade. It's tablet reads: “Pax Tibi,” Peace Be With You, thus the peace sign on the mosaic sphere.

TONGVA TURTLES - The first inhabitants of this land, the Tongva, tell of Great Spirit's creation of California with sea turtle siblings.

CARNIVAL BALL - In Abbot Kinney's day, Venice of America was "Coney Island of the Pacific," with wild rollercosters, beautiful carousels, giant slides, fun houses, live camel rides, miniature trains, and much more. Let the Carnival Ball transport you.
