The Olhão Municipal Library opened to the public on June 16, 2008.
This library, located in the city center, is the result of the adaptation of the building of the former Municipal Hospital, and the project was designed by architect Carlos Martins.
A collection of around 2000 documents is available to residents, including books, newspapers, magazines, audio CDs, DVDs and CD-ROMs, as well as computers for free Internet access.
