My Hands

My Hands highlights the important work the Center for Educational Equity does for the community by providing opportunities for at-risk young adults through success-oriented programs and experiences. The mural was designed and painted in collaboration with community members. It features a quote by Langston Hughes - "I look at my own body/With eyes no long blind-/And I see that my own hands can make/The world that's in my mind."
