It was important for us to build a businesses on the corner using it as a cornerstone in the community. A restaurant at its core is a meeting place, it's a it's a space of fellowship. This space is very diner-esque and what it says is that it's really approachable creating an invite to come in and not limited to just the people in the community, but anyone can come in.
Table 37 in the back is my table. At the beginning it was a space for me to do my work. Over time it became became more than just a table, it became my kitchen table — it became an opportunity for me to be able to tell my stories and to have fellowship with my friends or talking to employees, strategizing on how to do this thing that we have right now, and so I think Peach's just becomes part of my community in that way.
Come on in and find your table 37.
