In 2014, after 30 years of working in quilting, stained glass and fused glass Maureen broadened her love with “colour” through a new medium...painting with acrylic. She envisioned expanding the principles of glass and fabric design into painting.
It is all about being unafraid of colour. She is am fascinated by how the “bold lines” of different colours create depth and vibrancy. She loves the simplicity of expressing in colour what cannot be spoken with words.
