This is the site of the outdoor activities for our Family Reunion. We have reserved you a seat! It is also the site of most of the 65 family reunions of early days. The local families would bring piles of sawdust to hide pennies in (some of us remember the fun time we had searching for those pennies!). They also brought cattle troughs full of ice and Orange Crush, amazing pot-luck dinners, and supplies for egg tosses, 3 legged sack races, and tug-o-war. If I recall correctly, this is also the park that Mayme Rossiter arrived in on the back of David Hegge's motorcycle at the tender age of 80 (about 1964!)
