Welcome to the Northeast Trail, this is where our tour will begin. We will start by taking visitors into the nature preserve through the dense Tropical Hardwood Hammock, around the dry Pine Rockland loop, and into our humid Wetlands. Along the way, we will also stop and point out key areas of interest and highlight some of our specimen trees such as the Inkwood, Pigeon Plum, Live Oak, Gumbo-Limbo, Dade Slash Pine, Buttonwood, and many more.
