27 South Main St.- Odd Fellows Hall: This large brick building was erected by the International Order of Odd
Fellows in 1852. Meetings were held on the second floor. The main floor housed several businesses- at one time a meat market was in the basement because it was cooler there. It also served as a hospital during the Battle of South Mountain and Antietam. This structure is now Boonsboro’s Clock Tower.
