Old Stanley Police Station​

• Located at No. 88, Stanley Villae Road​

• It was built in 1859.​

• It is one of the six earliest police stations and the only one preserved today.​

-> The Japanese army requisitioned it ​

-> In 1974, the police station moved out of it​

->From 1993 to 2022, this station was activated to be different purposes like runnig supermar​

Architectural style​

• Fusion of East and West​

There are western vaulted ceilings, long columns and Chinese tiled roofs​

• Preserve artifacts of historical value like fireplaces​

From 2002 to 2022, Wellcome and ParknShop successively rented it to be a supermarket​

• Some people think that it successfully revitalizes this vacant cultural relic​

• Some people think that it depreciated the value of cultural relics​
