Organic Garden

One of the most important assets of the Agroecology program is the FIU Organic Garden. Through this hands-on teaching facility, students gain experiential learning about food production and its relationship to the ecosystem through gardening and plot experiments. The FIU Garden Club has been a strong supporter of the Organic Garden and has a robust membership that welcomes students from all degree programs to appreciate and advocate for organic food and organic gardening practices everywhere.
