Rt. 5&20 Nests #1-8 are best observed by driving by in your car. Please do not pull off of the road for these nests as there is not adequate space to do so safely.

This nest along with nests #2 and #4 on this road have all been active since 1999.

In spring 2021, National Grid took down all the old Osprey nests and replaced them with saucer bases for them to renest on. All the nests but one were reclaimed. One pair rebuild on the pylon next to the saucer.
