Created By: West Bridgford & District Local History Society
We start the tour standing outside the Trent Bridge Inn, by Radcliffe Road. Until 1952, you would have been standing in Nottingham not West Bridgford. In 1952 the boundary between Nottingham and West Bridgford became the centre of the River Trent. But, until then, an area south of the river, including where the County Hall now stands, belonged to Nottingham.
This point of interest is part of the tour: Loughborough Road
