Paris, France

Paris is ranked #10 on my list. What I liked about Paris is that it's called the City of Light. It is referred to as the City of Light because during the Age of Enlightenment, Paris had many philosphers that spread bold new ideas and questioned authority Paris was also called the City of Light because it was the first to adopt streetlights. I also like Paris because of the Eiffel Tower. Paris ranks above Philadelphia because Philadelphia didn't have a role in the Age of Enlightenment while Paris led the movement. Paris automatically seems more interesting to me as an American because it is foreign.
