Year round you will be treated to the sight of ducks and geese on the main lake and maybe a Great Blue Heron.. No swimming, wading or boating is allowed on the lake but it is stocked for fishing with trout and catfish. Fishing is free for children under 10 and day passes may be purchased at the nearby Mason Community Center (City of Mason, 2017a). The lake drains into Muddy Creek and ultimately into the Little Miami River -- a National Scenic River just a few miles from here (COMEBP, 2010). Please refrain from throwing garbage or liquids into the lake to help keep it clean. Begin the tour by walking to your left along the main paved path.
