After several other owners it was bequeathed to Edith Alice Lankester in 1861 and is named Regent House for the first time. After passing through several hands it was sold in 1955 to George V Williams who ran an Electrical business there for many years . In 1986 Gladys Dilley Estates become tenants and in 1994 D W Dilley purchases the building to run an estate agency and an Allied Building Society Branch.
