Information

Standing on the corner of Grand & Lindell and looking northwest, the 15 story building still bears the name "Jesuit Hall." Originally built as the Melbourne Hotel, it later became Rogers Hall, SLU's first women's residence hall. In 1973, it became the residence of the SLU Jesuit community. In January 2023, the Jesuits moved to the new Jesuit Center on Laclede Avenue and Jesuit Hall is now slated to be renovated by a private developer into apartments.
