SLU Campus sculptures

If you walk into the circle drive of formerly Hotel Ignacio (now closed), you'll see a neoclassical bronze of a woman dancing above orbs of light. Continue through the drive to the street adjacent and you wiill find yourself on Locust Street across from an expanse of grass. Lying in the grass is the sculpture Emmy by Michael Atkinson, a "submerged" bronze of alounging lady. This sculpture was originally located by SLU's gymnasium, but due to the risque subject matter, was moved to the outer edge of campus.
