Why St. Luke's?
We celebrate Holy Eucharist as a faith community joyfully each Sunday in the Episcopal tradition. Our children and youth are full participants in helping to lead worship.
Ministry at St. Luke's reflects the many gifts that God has provided to each person. Parishioners exercise ministries such as acolytes, chalicers, oblation bearers, ushers, choir, greeters, readers, altar guild, nursery helpers, Vestry and Sunday School teachers.
Our beliefs are based on:
Scripture - The Old and New Testaments contain the essence of our Christian beliefs. We understand who God is through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Tradition - The life of the church through the centuries helps us understand scripture as it is experienced in the faith community.
Reason - We use our reason to try and understand God's will for us today, as we interpret scripture to help us make decisions as Christians.
