About
San Carlos Apache College was created as the vision of the San Carlos Apache Tribal Council in 2014, with doors opened in 2017. The school is located on the San Carlos Apache Reservation in Arizona, and serves the local community through educational resources and professional training. It is currently operating as an extension of the Tohono O'odham Community College, with plans for independent accredation on the horizon. The first cohort of students to graduate walked the stage in 2020.
Students at San Carlos Apache College can pursue Associates degrees and a number of Certificate programs. Associates courses of study include Liberal Arts, Business Management, Business Administration, and Social Work. Certificate programs include Social Services, and Substance Abuse and Addiction Studies.
