Snow Leopards are the smallest of all big cats. They are perfectly adapted to the high, steep, rocky terrain of their native habitat in the mountains of central Asia. They can even be found on Mt. Everest. Their fur varies in color from white to a pale yellow or grey with dark grey spots. They are able to achieve near-perfect camouflage. Snow Leopard’s long tails act as rudders to help them balance, and their large paws act as snow shoes.
