Information

Watch Frontera’s Education Program Manager talk about the soaptree yucca for Flower Friday! In Spanish it is called La Palmilla. Native Americans would use the roots of the yucca as a sort of soap to clean. The soaptree yucca blooms beautiful white flowers, which attract many pollinators such as hummingbirds, and the flowers are edible.
