The church, which is located at 206 North Howe Street was built in 1871. The frame of the 1871 wooden church lies beneath a modern brick veneer. Much of the interior wood work dates from the last quarter of the 19th century. The chapel faced Nash Street when it was constructed In the 1920's. Later, the building was turned to face toward Howe Street. The main sanctuary was added in the early 1950's.
