The only freehold lease in Hong Kong was used to construct this stunning Cathedral, which is shaped like a cross. It hasn't changed much since it was first constructed and is one of the first structures from the British rule to survive. With construction completed in 1849, it is both the oldest Anglican church in the Far East and the oldest Western ecclesiastical structure still standing in Hong Kong. In 1996, it was designated as a monument.
