The second place of the tour is Stone Slabs Street. It is called Stone Slabs Street since it is paved unevenly by granite stone steps. The official name of the street is Pottinger Street. The street is on the slope between Queen's Road Central and Hollywood Road. It was named in 1858 after Henry Pottinger, the first Governor of Hong Kong, who served from 1843 to 1844. It is a Grade I historic building.
