Stop 2 (c) Pre-Bog walls

As the pathway begins to ascend towards Blane-more ridge, we come to Stop 2 (c), where another pre-bog wall runs under our feet before disappearing into the bog again. While still a commercial woodland owned by the Irish state forestry company 'Coillte', they are replanting extracted timber with a 20% mix of native trees including oak and some birch, mainly along our trail..
