The Tamar Wallaby is native to the savannahs and forests of southwestern Australia and has a diet of succulent plants. Wallabies, wallaroos, and kangaroos all belong to the same family of marsupials and macropods, and they all go by different common names. As a rule, wallabies are smaller than wallaroos and kangaroos. The Tammar Wallaby has kidneys that are efficient at excreting excess salt, which allows them to drink sea water.
