Across the street was once Tarry's Hall, built in the 1870s. The hall was the first non-residential structure south of the post office in Northcote and was owned and run by Mary Tarry. It hosted dances, public gatherings, and early borough council meetings, and was the first building to show moving pictures in Northcote.
Continue south along Queen Street.
